بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي وَقْتِهَا وَجَوَازِ فِعْلِهَا جَمَاعَةًChapter on Its Time and the Permissibility of Performing It in Congregation
Hadith 2257

عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ الضُّحَى حِينَ كَانَتِ الشَّمْسُ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ مِنْ مَكَانِهَا مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Duha (forenoon) prayer at a time when the sun had risen in the east to the same height as it is in the west at the time of Asr.
