بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي وَقْتِهِChapter on Its Time
Hadith 2183

وَعَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: كَانَ يُوْتِرُ عِنْدَ الْأَذَانِ وَيُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ (وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: وَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ) عِنْدَ الْإِقَامَةِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform Witr at the time of the Adhan and would offer the two Sunnah of Fajr at the time of the Iqamah.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … If by the time of adhan and iqamah it is meant that they would perform witr before the adhan, and would perform the sunnah prayers of Fajr before the iqamah, then the meaning of this narration will be correct.
