عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَ بِعَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ الْمَوْتُ، اشْتَدَّ جَزَعُهُ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: مَا هَٰذَا الْجَزَعُ؟ قَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ يَعْنِي أُخْتَهُ تَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَنْ صَلَّى أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَأَرْبَعًا بَعْدَهَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ لَحْمَهُ عَلَى النَّارِ)) فَمَا تَرَكْتُهُنَّ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُهُنَّ
Hassan bin Atiyyah says: When the time of death approached for Anbasah bin Abi Sufyan, his anxiety increased. Someone asked him: What is this anxiety? He said: I heard from my sister, Sayyidah Umm Habibah, that she said the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever prays four rak‘ahs before Zuhr and four rak‘ahs after it, Allah Almighty will make his flesh forbidden to the Fire. And since I heard this hadith from her, I have never abandoned these eight rak‘ahs.

Benefits: … This hadith is authentic with this context: Sayyidah Aishah radi Allahu anha says: The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would never abandon four (rak‘ahs) before Zuhr and two (rak‘ahs) before Fajr in any circumstance. (Sahih Bukhari: 1182, Musnad Ahmad: 24340)
