Hadith 2044

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((اجْعَلُوا مِنْ صَلَاتِكُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوهَا قُبُورًا)) وَفِي لَفْظٍ: ((صَلُّوا فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوهَا قُبُورًا)) ٭
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Offer a portion of your prayers in your homes as well, and do not make them graveyards. In another narration it is stated: Offer prayers in your homes and do not turn them into graves.
