بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي فَضْلِهَا وَأَنَّهَا تُجْبِرُ نَقْصَ الْفَرِيضَةِChapter on Its Virtue and That It Completes the Deficiency of Obligatory Prayers
Hadith 2033

عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَنْ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشَرَةَ رَكْعَةً سِوَى الْفَرِيضَةِ بُنِي لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs twelve rak‘ahs in a day and night, apart from the obligatory prayers, a house will be built for him in Paradise.
