Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray while she was lying on the bed between him and the Qiblah. Ata says: I asked Urwah, "Was there a wall of the mosque between the two?" He said, "No, towards the wall of the house."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … From these ahadith, it is understood that there is no dislike (karahah) in sleeping in front of someone who is praying. Some weak narrations indicate that sleeping in front of a person who is praying is prohibited; if these reach the level of authenticity, they will be interpreted in the situation where the humility and concentration (khushu‘ wa khudu‘) of the one praying is being affected due to the person sleeping.
