Ibn Sirin says that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked performing prayer in women's shawls. Abu Ayyaz says that it is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer in such a state that he was covered with a woolen shawl of Aisha; part of it was on Aisha and part of it was on him.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In the last hadith, there appears to be an apparent contradiction: on one hand, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam disliked performing prayer in women’s shawls, and on the other hand, during prayer, a part of the shawl of Sayyidah Aisha radi Allahu anha was upon the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. The first question is: why is it disliked and undesirable to pray in women’s shawls? The most appropriate reason seems to be that there is a likelihood of impurity (najasah) in such shawls belonging to women. The cause of this likelihood is menstruation (hayd), postnatal bleeding (nifas), women’s lack of caution, and children staying with women. However, when, due to certain indications, it becomes certain that a particular woman’s shawl is pure, then there is no harm in praying in it, as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did. In this way, the contradiction is resolved.
