بَابُ كَرَاهَةِ الصَّلَاةِ وَهُوَ حَاقِنٌ وَ بِحَضْرَةِ الطَّعَامِ وَبِمُدَافِعَةِ النُّعَاسِChapter on the Dislike of Praying While Needing to Relieve Oneself, in the Presence of Food, or While Drowsy
Hadith 1922

عَنْ أَبِي أَمَامَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ((لَا يَأْتِ أَحَدُكُمُ الصَّلَاةَ وَهُوَ حَاقِنٌ وَلَا يَدْخُلْ بَيْتًا إِلَّا بِإِذْنٍ، وَلَا يَؤُمَّنَّ إِمَامٌ قَوْمًا فَيَخُصَّ نَفْسَهُ بِدَعْوَةٍ دُونَهُمْ))
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: None of you should approach prayer in a state when he is restraining stool or urine, and one should not enter a house without permission, and no imam should lead a people in prayer in such a way that he singles out himself in supplication, leaving them out.
