عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَرْفَعُونَ أَبْصَارَهُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ؟!)) وَاشْتَدَّ قَوْلُهُ فِي ذَلِكَ حَتَّى قَالَ: ((لِيَنْتَهُنَّ عَنْ ذَلِكَ أَوْ لَتُخْطَفَنَّ أَبْصَارُهُمْ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (What is the matter with those people who raise their eyes towards the sky during prayer? Then regarding this, he spoke very sternly and said: These people must certainly refrain from doing this, or their eyes will be snatched away.)
