Abu Salih says: I went to the wife of the Messenger, Sayyida Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), and one of her nephews also came to her. He performed two units of prayer in her house. When he prostrated, he blew on the dust. Sayyida Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to him: Nephew! Do not blow, because the slave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), named Yasar, blew, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: For the sake of Allah, let your face touch the dust.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … All the ahadith are clear in their meaning; their essence is that, except for necessity, no additional movement or action should be performed during the prayer. It is correct to deduce from these ahadith that those who wear glasses should remove and set aside their glasses before beginning the prayer, not while bowing down for prostration (sajdah). Similarly, mobile phones and the like should be turned off before starting the prayer, so that one can avoid extra movements during the prayer. The same applies analogously to other matters.
