Hadith 1841

(Second chain) Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: No person should make any part of himself for Satan, such that he begins to think that he has the right to turn only to the right side during prayer, whereas I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that his turning was mostly to the left side.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … From the statement of Sayyiduna Abdullah radi Allahu anhu, it is understood that if more than one method is transmitted from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam regarding an issue, then it is not appropriate for anyone to make only one of them obligatory upon himself and abandon the others.
