بَابُ كَيْفِيَّةِ السَّلَامِ وَلَفْظِهِ وَأَنَّهُ مَرَّتَانChapter on How to Say Salam, Its Wording, and That It Is Said Twice
Hadith 1827

(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ: كَأَنَّمَا أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَيَاضِ خَدِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِتَسْلِيمَتِهِ الْيُسْرَى
(Second chain) He says: It is as if I am looking at the whiteness of the cheek of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was turning to the left to offer salam.
