بَابُ الْجَلْسَةِ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ وَمَا يُقَالُ فِيهَاChapter on the Sitting Between the Two Prostrations and What is Said in It
Hadith 1752

عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى يَصِفُ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَجَدَ حَتَّى أَخَذَ كُلُّ عُضْوٍ مَا أَخَذَهُ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ حَتَّى أَخَذَ كُلُّ عُضْوٍ مَا أَخَذَهُ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ حَتَّى أَخَذَ كُلُّ عَظْمٍ مَا أَخَذَهُ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ فَصَنَعَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ كَمَا صَنَعَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى، ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَٰكَذَا صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abzi (may Allah be pleased with him) described the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) by performing the prayer: he performed sajdah (prostration) and remained there until every limb settled in its place, then he rose until every bone returned to its place, then he performed the second sajdah until every bone took its place, then he rose and did the same in the second rak‘ah as he had done in the first rak‘ah, then said: The prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was like this.
