Hadith 1737

(Third chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I have been commanded to prostrate on seven parts: the forehead—along with this, he, peace and blessings be upon him, pointed towards his nose—both hands, both knees, and the edges of the toes (of both feet), and I have also been commanded not to gather up the clothes and hair.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Not wrapping the hair means that if the hair is long, it should neither be pressed under the turban nor tied at the back. Similarly, in prayer, the sleeves and the like should not be rolled up, and likewise, one should refrain from wrapping the garment unnecessarily.
