عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((لَيُنْقَضَنَّ عُرَى الْإِسْلَامِ عُرْوَةً عُرْوَةً، فَكُلَّمَا انْتَقَضَتْ عُرْوَةٌ تَشَبَّثَ النَّاسُ بِالَّتِي تَلِيهَا وَأَوَّلُهُنَّ نَقْضًا الْحُكْمُ وَآخِرُهُنَّ الصَّلَاةُ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The links of Islam, that is, the commandments of Islam, will be undone one by one. When one link falls, people will pursue the next link. The first commandment to be broken will be justice, and the last to be demolished will be prayer (salah)."
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Subhan Allah! As far as justice and fairness are concerned, for many centuries now, their traces have vanished from most Muslim populations, and now more than ninety percent of Muslims have also abandoned the prayer (salah). Yet the deceptive matter is that, in their own estimation, they still consider themselves to be complete Muslims.
