بَابُ مِقْدَارِ الرُّكُوعِ وَصِفَتِهِ وَالطُّمَأْنِينَةِ فِيهِ وَفِي جَمِيعِ الْأَرْكَانِ عَلَى سَوَاءٍChapter on the Amount and Description of Bowing and Tranquility in It and All Pillars Equally
Hadith 1683

(وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنِ السَّعْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ: رَمَقْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَكَانَ يَمْكُثُ فِي رُكُوعِهِ وَسُجُودِهِ قَدْرَ مَا يَقُولُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ ثَلَاثًا
(Hadith with another chain) Their father narrates from their uncle, who says: I closely observed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in prayer. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would remain in bowing and prostration for as long as it takes a person to say this phrase three times: Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi.
