It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Sa’ib (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began reciting Surah Al-Mu’minun in the Fajr prayer. When he reached the mention of Musa and Harun (peace be upon them), he (peace and blessings be upon him) started coughing, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the bowing (ruku) at that point.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … After the (44) verses of Surah Al-Mu’minun, the mention of these two prophets begins. From this hadith, it is understood that due to some arising necessity, the imam may abandon his intention to prolong the standing (qiyam) and proceed to bowing (ruku‘), and this is how it should be done.
