Simak bin Harb says: I asked Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) about the prayer of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to lighten (the prayer) and did not pray like the people of today. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah Qaf and similar surahs in the Fajr prayer.
