It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, who says: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to lead us in prayer; in those prayers in which he recited aloud, we would also recite aloud, and in those in which he recited quietly, we would also recite quietly. I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: There is no prayer except with recitation.
