عَنْ جَابِرٍ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ بِـ {وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى} وَنَحْوِ ذَلِكَ، وَفِي الصُّبْحِ أَطْوَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite Surah Al-Lail in Zuhr, similar surahs in Asr, and longer recitation than these in Fajr.
