Hadith 1593

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When the reciter (imam) says Ameen, you should also say Ameen, because whoever’s Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In the first hadith, it is stated that when the imam says {وَلَا الْضَّالِّیْنَ}, the followers (muqtadis) should say "Ameen." However, in the second hadith, it is mentioned that when the imam says "Ameen," the followers should also say "Ameen." Both these ahadith have the same meaning: the meaning of the first hadith is that when the imam finishes {وَلَا الْضَّالِّیْنَ}, and the meaning of the second hadith is that when the imam begins to say "Ameen," the followers should also say "Ameen." In this way, the "Ameen" of the imam, the followers, and the angels will all coincide at the same time.
