Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says that once we were performing prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when suddenly a man said these words: "Allah is the Greatest, very great. All praise is for Him, which is very much. He is pure; morning and evening we declare His purity." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Who was the one who said these words? A man replied: O Messenger of Allah! It was I. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I was amazed at these words, for the gates of the heavens have been opened for them. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Since I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say this, I have never abandoned these words.
