In another narration reported from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, the believer wearies his devils just as one of you wearies his camel during a journey."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … A believer remains engaged in performing righteous deeds; he mentions the name of Allah before eating and drinking, and before entering his house in matters such as these. As a result, Satan has no share in his food and drink, nor can Satan spend the night in his house. Furthermore, satanic desires and whispers do not prove effective against him. The outcome is that Satan becomes unsuccessful, weak, and subdued in all his schemes. Due to the believer’s observance of Allah’s commands, avoidance of His prohibitions, and distancing from carnal desires, Satan’s status is no more than that of a prisoner and one compelled. In fact, he becomes like that animal which has been weakened and emaciated by journeys.
