بَابُ دَفْعِ الْمَارِّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلِّي مِنْ آدَمِيٍّ وَغَيْرِهِChapter on Preventing Someone from Passing in Front of the Worshipper, Whether Human or Animal
Hadith 1483

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ يُصَلِّي فَلَا يَدَعْ أَحَدًا يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيُقَاتِلْهُ فَإِنَّ مَعَهُ الْقَرِينَ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you is performing prayer, he should not allow anyone to pass in front of him. If someone refuses (to stop), then he should fight him, for indeed there is a devil with him.
