Sayyiduna Abu Hujayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in the Zuhr and Asr prayers, two rak‘ahs each, at Abtah or Batha. In front of him was a spear which he had placed before himself, and behind it people, donkeys, and women kept passing by. In another narration it is mentioned: He was asked, "What were you doing at that time?" He replied, "I was straightening arrows and attaching feathers to them."
