(Second Chain) It is narrated from Muhammad bin Ismail that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Habibah was asked what (knowledge) he had acquired from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him? When the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, had come, he was a young boy at that time. Nevertheless, he replied: One day the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to us in our mosque, that is, the Mosque of Quba. We also came and sat with him, and other people also arrived. Then he remained seated as long as Allah willed, then stood up and began to pray. I saw that he was praying in his shoes.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … According to the first narration, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sitting in the shade of trees, whereas according to the second narration, he was present in the mosque. It is possible that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was first sitting in the shade, then after drinking water, went and sat in the mosque. In the first narration, instead of the words "fi fayi’ al-ahmar," the words "fi fina’i al-ajm" are clearer and more apparent; the meaning of the former words is not understood. And the word "al-ajm" can be read in three ways: (1) … "al-ajm," which means a roofed house, and "fina’" means courtyard, while "fayi’" means shade. (2) … "al-ujum," which means palace or fortress. (3) … "al-ajam," which is the plural of "al-ajamah," and its meaning is dense and thick trees.
