Majma’ bin Ya’qub narrates from a boy of the people of Quba, whom he found in old age. He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to us at Quba and sat in the shade of dense trees, and people gathered around him. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, asked for water, so water was given to him and he drank it. I was on his right side and I was a young boy among the people, then he handed (the cup) to me and I also drank from it. I remember that on that day the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in prayer while he was wearing his shoes and did not take them off.
