بَابُ كَرَاهِيَةِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَالْاحْتِبَاءِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍChapter on the Dislike of Enveloping Oneself Tightly and Sitting with Knees Drawn Up in a Single Garment
Hadith 1418

عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((لَا تَرْتَدُوا الصَّمَّاءَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَلَا يَأْكُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ بِشِمَالِهِ، وَلَا يَمْشِ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ، وَلَا يَحْتَبِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not wrap yourself completely in one cloth like a woman, and none of you should eat with his left hand, nor walk with one shoe, nor sit with one knee raised while wearing one cloth.
