بَابُ النَّهْيِ عَنْ تَجْرِيدِ الْمَنْكِبَيْنِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَجَوَازِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍChapter on the Prohibition of Uncovering the Shoulders in Prayer and the Permissibility of Praying in a Single Garment
Hadith 1409

عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ (بِنْتِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ) رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّهَا رَأَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُخَالِفًا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ ثَمَانَ رَكَعَاتٍ بِمَكَّةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ (وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ) فَصَلَّى الضُّحَى ثَمَانَ رَكَعَاتٍ
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Hani bint Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with her) that she saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in Makkah on the day of conquest, having draped the two ends of a cloth over his shoulders in opposite directions, performing eight rak‘ahs. And in another narration: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed eight rak‘ahs of the Duha (forenoon) prayer.
