Muhammad bin Sirin narrates that Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) came to Safiyyah, the mother of Talha al-Talhat, and saw some of her girls who had reached puberty but were praying without head coverings. Muhammad says: Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: None of these girls should pray without a head covering, because there was a girl under my care, and when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me, he threw his cloak towards me and said: Distribute this cloak between this girl and the girls in the lap of Umm Salamah, because I think they have reached puberty.
