It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A man should not look at the private parts of another man, nor should a woman look at the private parts of another woman, and a man should not lie with another man under a single garment, nor should a woman lie with another woman under a single garment.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The meaning of the last sentence of the hadith is that a man should not enter a single garment with another man, nor a woman with another woman, because in such a situation, the naked body of one will touch the naked body of the other, there will be exposure, and even if they are themselves mahram (unmarriageable kin), improper thoughts will certainly arise, and the satanic whispering of seeing a non-mahram in this state will be created, leading to further corruption … As for the issue of sleeping together, the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has commanded that after the age of ten, children should be made to sleep separately.
