بَابُ مَا يُبَاحُ قُعُودٌ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِChapter on What is Permissible Regarding Sitting in Mosques
Hadith 1370

(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ: مَا كَانَ لِي مَبِيتٌ وَلَا مَأْوَى عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ
The wording of the hadith narrated with the second chain is as follows: In the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), I had no place to spend the night except the mosque, nor any other refuge.
