Hadith 13335

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A caller will announce: O people of Paradise! Now you will live forever, you will never die; you will remain healthy, you will never fall ill; you will always be young, you will never grow old; you will always be prosperous, you will never be miserable. The meaning of Allah Almighty’s statement is this: { وَنُوْدُوْا اَنْ تِلْکُمُ الْجَنَّۃُ اُوْرِثْتُمُوْھَا بِمَاکُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ۔} (And it will be announced to them that you have been made heirs to this Paradise as a result of your deeds).

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … When the people of Paradise have entered Paradise and the people of Hell have entered Hell, and after the intercessions of those permitted to intercede, and after those deserving punishment have received their due, then those who are to be released and saved from Hell will be freed and, having attained salvation, will enter Paradise. At that time, death will be brought in the form of a ram and slaughtered upon the Bridge (Sirat) between Paradise and Hell. It will then be announced that those who are in Paradise will remain therein forever—death will never come to them; likewise, those who are in Hell will remain therein forever, and death will never come to them. This announcement will increase the joy of the people of Paradise, and the people of Hell will become even more sorrowful and despairing.
