It is narrated from Sayyiduna Iyad bin Hamar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There are three kinds of people: (1) The king who is just, gives charity, and has been granted special guidance, (2) The person who is kind-hearted and gentle towards every relative and every Muslim, and (3) The chaste man who is poor, but still gives charity.
