Narrated from Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Seventy thousand individuals from my Ummah will enter Paradise without reckoning; their faces will shine like the moon on the night of Badr, and their hearts will be like the heart of a single man. When I asked my Lord for more, He added seventy thousand more with each one of them. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I think this will reach the people of the towns and extend to the outskirts of the villages.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The detailed number of those who will enter Paradise without reckoning or account is as follows; understand all the hadiths in light of this discussion:
According to the aforementioned hadith, four billion, ninety million, and seventy thousand (4,090,070,000) individuals will enter Paradise without reckoning or account. (Subhan Allah) Who are these people? What are their characteristics? Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas radi Allahu anhu says that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: The previous nations were presented before me, … … . Then I saw a very large group; Jibril said to me: This is your ummah, and the seventy thousand individuals at their forefront will have no reckoning or account. I asked: What is the reason for this? He said: These are the people who neither get themselves cauterized, nor seek ruqyah (spiritual healing), nor take bad omens, and they rely solely upon their Lord. (Bukhari: 6541, Muslim: 220)
In our Shariah, seeking ruqyah, cauterizing wounds, and seeking treatment are permissible, but the highest level of reliance (tawakkul) is to avoid even these and entrust the matter to Allah Ta’ala—that is, the One Who caused the illness will Himself remove it.
Apart from the (4,090,070,000) individuals, there will also be three handfuls (muthiyaan) of Allah the Most Generous, as is evident from the last hadith of this chapter; it is not known how many people will fit in Allah Ta’ala’s handful. May Allah make us among them.
