وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”مَا بَيْنَ مِصْرَاعَيْنِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَمَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The two panels of the gate of Paradise will have a width equal to the distance of forty years' journey.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … From the ahadith of this section, it is understood that Paradise and the blessings of Paradise will be so beautiful, captivating, attractive, and precious that it is impossible even to imagine them in this world. The buildings and dwellings of Paradise will be constructed with one brick of gold and one brick of silver; the highest quality musk will be used as mortar. There, the most precious pearls and rubies will be like pebbles, and saffron will be used as soil. There will be no kind of sorrow or grief there; life will be everlasting, and no one will die. Clothes will never become old or worn out, and there will be perpetual youth, which will never fade.
