(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraidah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We were on a journey with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), during the journey the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped at a place, we were also with him, we were about a thousand riders, he performed two units of prayer. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned his face towards us and tears were flowing from his eyes. Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and went to him and said: O Messenger of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you, what is the reason for your weeping? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I sought permission from my Lord to seek forgiveness for my mother, but He did not grant me permission, so I felt pity for her going to Hell and I began to weep. I had forbidden you from three things, one of them was visiting graves, ... . After this, the narration continues similar to the previous hadith.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Every Muslim loves the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. This love has both legal (shar‘i) requirements and natural (tabi‘i) requirements. One natural requirement is that the status and rank of the parents of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam be elevated in the sight of Allah Ta‘ala. However, the legal requirements must be given precedence over the natural requirements. In any case, you should reflect upon the aforementioned ahadith and the given examples.

The son and wife of Nuh alayhis salam were disbelievers; the wife of Lut alayhis salam was a disbeliever; the father of Ibrahim alayhis salam was a disbeliever; the wife of Pharaoh, Sayyidah Asiyah, was a great Muslim woman.

In reality, it is not a characteristic of prophethood and messengership that the people related to a prophet are also possessors of faith.
