It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Shall I not tell you who are the people of Hell and who are the people of Paradise? Every person who is weak in worldly terms, whom people consider weak, disheveled and covered in dust, and who wears two worn-out sheets—these people are the dwellers of Paradise. Their status with Allah Almighty is such that if any one of them swears an oath by Allah, He surely fulfills their oath. And the harsh-natured, ill-mannered, arrogant, wealth-hoarding, miserly, and fat person (who, out of arrogance) likes to walk ahead of people—he is of the people of Hell.
