It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Allah Almighty does not wrong a believer even in regard to a single good deed; rather, the believer is rewarded for his good deeds in this world as well, and he is also given reward in the Hereafter. As for the disbeliever, Allah Almighty repays him for his good deeds in this world itself, so that when he reaches the Hereafter, there remains no good deed for which he may be rewarded.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … (1) From this section it is understood that Allah, the Exalted, is extremely merciful to His servants. He will be so merciful to some of His believing servants that He will bring them close and speak to them in a whispering manner, and remind them that He had concealed their sins in the world. He will say, “Today I forgive your sins,” and that person will be sent to Paradise.
(2) From this section it is also understood that speaking during tawaf (circumambulation) is not prohibited. One may speak to someone as needed, and questions regarding religious matters may also be asked from the people of knowledge.
(3) From this section, the vastness of Allah’s mercy and the greatness of the creed of tawhid (monotheism) are also made clear: that even if a sinner has ninety-nine scrolls filled with great sins, he will have one good deed with Allah, that he affirmed the oneness of Allah (tawhid) and acknowledged the prophethood and messengership of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). By the blessing of this, he will attain salvation.
(4) It is also understood that whoever hopes for Allah’s mercy, Allah does not disappoint him.
(5) It is also understood that it is impossible for a human in this world to estimate the blessings of Allah in Paradise. Even the last person to enter Paradise, upon seeing Allah’s blessings, will say that even if I invite all the people of Paradise, these blessings will not be exhausted.
(6) It is also understood that Allah will be so pleased with the people of tawhid (monotheism) that for every single sin of theirs, He will grant them good deeds in exchange.
(7) It is also understood that not even a single good deed of a believer is wasted with Allah. He receives its reward in this world as well, and will also receive reward in the Hereafter, insha’Allah.
(8) However, the disbelievers receive the recompense for their good deeds only in this world. They will not receive any good reward in the Hereafter.
