It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Two men from among those who attained the honor of my company will come towards me at the Pond. When I see them coming, they will be prevented from coming towards me.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In Sahih al-Bukhari (6582) and Sahih Muslim (2304), this hadith is narrated with these words: “Men will certainly come to me at the Pond (al-Hawd), until when I see them, they will be raised up before me, then they will be pulled away from me. So I will surely say: O my Lord, my companions, my companions! Then it will be said: You do not know what new things they invented after you.” (And the wording is for al-Musnad: 13991) … Some people will come to me at the Pond, until when I see them, they will be prevented from me. I will say: O my Lord! My companions, my companions! Then it will be said to me: You do not know what innovations they introduced after you.
