وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَحْمٍ فَرُفِعَ إِلَيْهِ الذِّرَاعُ وَكَانَتْ تُعْجِبُهُ فَنَهَسَ مِنْهَا نَهْسَةً ثُمَّ قَالَ ”أَنَا سَيِّدُ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهَلْ تَدْرُونَ لِمَ ذَلِكَ يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ فِي صَعِيدٍ وَاحِدٍ يُسْمِعُهُمُ الدَّاعِي وَيَنْفُذُهُمُ الْبَصَرُ وَتَدْنُو الشَّمْسُ فَيَبْلُغَ النَّاسَ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَالْكُرَبِ مَا لَا يُطِيقُونَ وَلَا يَحْتَمِلُونَ فَيَقُولُ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ لِبَعْضٍ أَلَا تَرَوْنَ إِلَى مَا أَنْتُمْ فِيهِ أَلَا تَرَوْنَ إِلَى مَا قَدْ بَلَغَكُمْ أَلَا تَنْظُرُونَ مَنْ يَشْفَعُ لَكُمْ إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَيَقُولُ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ أَبُوكُمْ آدَمُ فَيَأْتُونَ آدَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَيَقُولُونَ يَا آدَمُ أَنْتَ أَبُو الْبَشَرِ خَلَقَكَ اللَّهُ بِيَدِهِ وَنَفَخَ فِيكَ مِنْ رُوحِهِ وَأَمَرَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ فَسَجَدُوا لَكَ فَاشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّكَ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا نَحْنُ فِيهِ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا قَدْ بَلَغَنَا فَيَقُولُ آدَمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ إِنَّ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ غَضِبَ الْيَوْمَ غَضَبًا لَمْ يَغْضَبْ مِثْلَهُ وَلَنْ يَغْضَبَ بَعْدَهُ مِثْلَهُ وَإِنَّهُ نَهَانِي عَنِ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَصَيْتُهُ نَفْسِي نَفْسِي نَفْسِي نَفْسِي اذْهَبُوا إِلَى غَيْرِي اذْهَبُوا إِلَى نُوحٍ فَيَأْتُونَ نُوحًا فَيَقُولُونَ يَا نُوحُ أَبُو الرُّسُلِ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ وَسَمَّاكَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَبْدًا شَكُورًا فَاشْفَعْ لَنَا عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا نَحْنُ فِيهِ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا قَدْ بَلَغَنَا فَيَقُولُ نُوحٌ إِنَّ رَبِّي قَدْ غَضِبَ الْيَوْمَ غَضَبًا لَمْ يَغْضَبْ قَبْلَهُ مِثْلَهُ وَلَنْ يَغْضَبَ بَعْدَهُ مِثْلَهُ وَإِنَّهُ كَانَتْ لِي دَعْوَةٌ عَلَى قَوْمِي نَفْسِي نَفْسِي نَفْسِي نَفْسِي اذْهَبُوا إِلَى غَيْرِي اذْهَبُوا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَيَأْتُونَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَيَقُولُونَ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ أَنْتَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ وَخَلِيلُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّكَ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا نَحْنُ فِيهِ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا قَدْ بَلَغَنَا فَيَقُولُ لَهُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمُ إِنَّ رَبِّي قَدْ غَضِبَ الْيَوْمَ غَضَبًا لَمْ يَغْضَبْ قَبْلَهُ مِثْلَهُ وَلَنْ يَغْضَبَ بَعْدَهُ مِثْلَهُ فَذَكَرَ كَذِبَاتِهِ نَفْسِي نَفْسِي نَفْسِي نَفْسِي اذْهَبُوا إِلَى غَيْرِي اذْهَبُوا إِلَى مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَيَأْتُونَ مُوسَى فَيَقُولُونَ يَا مُوسَى أَنْتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ اصْطَفَاكَ اللَّهُ بِرِسَالَاتِهِ وَبِتَكْلِيمِهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ اشْفَعْ إِلَى رَبِّكَ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا نَحْنُ فِيهِ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا قَدْ بَلَغَنَا فَيَقُولُ لَهُمْ مُوسَى إِنَّ رَبِّي قَدْ غَضِبَ الْيَوْمَ غَضَبًا لَمْ يَغْضَبْ قَبْلَهُ مِثْلَهُ وَلَنْ يَغْضَبَ بَعْدَهُ مِثْلَهُ وَإِنِّي قَتَلْتُ نَفْسًا لَمْ أُومَرْ بِقَتْلِهَا نَفْسِي نَفْسِي نَفْسِي اذْهَبُوا إِلَى غَيْرِي اذْهَبُوا إِلَى عِيسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَيَأْتُونَ عِيسَى فَيَقُولُونَ يَا عِيسَى أَنْتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَى مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِنْهُ قَالَ هَكَذَا هُوَ وَكَلَّمْتَ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ فَاشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّكَ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا نَحْنُ فِيهِ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا قَدْ بَلَغَنَا فَيَقُولُ لَهُمْ عِيسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ إِنَّ رَبِّي غَضِبَ الْيَوْمَ غَضَبًا لَمْ يَغْضَبْ قَبْلَهُ مِثْلَهُ وَلَنْ يَغْضَبَ بَعْدَهُ مِثْلَهُ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ لَهُ ذَنْبًا اذْهَبُوا إِلَى غَيْرِي اذْهَبُوا إِلَى مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيَأْتُونَنِي فَيَقُولُونَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ أَنْتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَكَ ذَنْبَكَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْهُ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ اشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّكَ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا نَحْنُ فِيهِ أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا قَدْ بَلَغَنَا فَأَقُومُ فَآتِي تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ فَأَقَعُ سَاجِدًا لِرَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ثُمَّ يَفْتَحُ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ وَيُلْهِمُنِي مِنْ مَحَامِدِهِ وَحُسْنِ الثَّنَاءِ عَلَيْهِ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَفْتَحْهُ عَلَى أَحَدٍ قَبْلِي فَيُقَالُ يَا مُحَمَّدُ ارْفَعْ رَأْسَكَ وَسَلْ تُعْطَهُ اشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ فَأَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ أُمَّتِي أُمَّتِي يَا رَبِّ أُمَّتِي أُمَّتِي يَا رَبِّ أُمَّتِي أُمَّتِي يَا رَبِّ فَيَقُولُ يَا مُحَمَّدُ أَدْخِلْ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ مَنْ لَا حِسَابَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْبَابِ الْأَيْمَنِ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ وَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ النَّاسِ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ الْأَبْوَابِ“ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَمَا بَيْنَ مِصْرَاعَيْنِ مِنْ مَصَارِيعِ الْجَنَّةِ كَمَا بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَهَجَرٍ أَوْ كَمَا بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَبُصْرَى
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that meat was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and the meat of the foreleg was presented to him, which he greatly liked. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tore the meat from it with his teeth and then said: On the Day of Resurrection, I will be the leader of the people. Do you know how this will be? Allah Almighty will gather all the first and the last people in one plain. They will all be gathered in such a way that a caller will be able to make everyone hear his voice, and the sight of the onlooker will reach all of them. The sun will have come extremely close, and people will be afflicted with unbearable grief and distress. In this state, they will say to one another: Do you not see what has happened to you? Do you not see the situation you are facing? Look for someone who can intercede for you before your Lord. Some people will say: Your father Adam (peace be upon him) is the one who can do this. Then the people will go to Adam (peace be upon him) and say: O Adam! You are the father of mankind, Allah Almighty created you with His own hand, breathed into you of His spirit, and commanded the angels to prostrate to you. Please intercede for us before your Lord. How much distress we are facing! Do you not see how troubled we are? Adam (peace be upon him) will reply: My Lord is so angry today as He has never been before and will never be again. He forbade me to go near a certain tree, but I disobeyed Him. Myself! Myself! Myself! Myself! Go to someone else, go to Nuh (peace be upon him). So the people will go to Nuh (peace be upon him) and say: O Nuh! You were the first of the messengers sent by Allah to the people of the earth, and Allah called you a grateful servant. Please intercede for us before your Lord today. Do you not see our miserable state? Do you not see our distress? Nuh (peace be upon him) will say: My Lord is so angry today as He has never been before and will never be again. I made a supplication regarding the punishment of my people. Myself! Myself! Myself! Myself! Go to someone else, go to Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Then the people will go to Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and say: O Ibrahim! You are Allah’s prophet and His close friend among all mankind. Please intercede for us before your Lord. Do you not see our distress and miserable state? Ibrahim (peace be upon him) will say: My Lord is so angry today as He has never been before and will never be again. Then he will mention his lies (and will refuse to intercede). Myself! Myself! Myself! Myself! Go to someone else, go to Musa (peace be upon him). So the people will go to Musa (peace be upon him) and say: O Musa! You are the messenger of Allah. Allah chose you from among mankind for His message and for speaking to Him. Please intercede for us before your Lord. See how distressed and afflicted we are. Musa (peace be upon him) will say: My Lord is so angry today as He has never been before and will never be again. I killed a man whom I was not commanded to kill. Myself! Myself! Myself! Myself! Go to someone else, go to Isa (peace be upon him). The people will go to Isa (peace be upon him) and say: O Isa! You are the messenger of Allah and His word which He cast to Sayyida Maryam (peace be upon her), and you are a spirit created by Allah in a special way. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes, this is true. And you spoke to people in the cradle. Please intercede for us before your Lord. See how distressed we are. Isa (peace be upon him) will say: My Lord is so angry today as He has never been before and will never be again. He will not mention any sin. Go to someone else, go to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Then the people will come to me and say: O Muhammad! You are the messenger of Allah and the seal of the prophets. Allah has forgiven all your past and future sins. Please intercede for us before your Lord. See how distressed and troubled we are. I will go and prostrate under the Throne before my Lord. At that time, Allah Almighty will inspire me with such words of praise and glorification as He has never taught anyone before me. Finally, it will be said from Allah: O Muhammad! Raise your head from prostration, ask and you will be given, intercede and your intercession will be accepted. I will say: O my Lord! My ummah, my ummah! O my Lord! My ummah, my ummah! O my Lord! My ummah, my ummah! O my Lord! Then Allah Almighty will say: O Muhammad! Take those of your ummah who will have no reckoning through the rightmost gate of Paradise, and they will also have the right to enter through the other gates. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: By Him in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad! The distance between the two leaves of the gate of Paradise is as far as between Makkah and Hajar, or between Makkah and the city of Busra.
