It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Ziyad bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Brother of Sada! Call the Adhan." Ziyad says: So I called the Adhan, and this was at the time when the dawn had become bright. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and stood up for prayer, Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) intended to say the Iqamah, but the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sada'i should say the Iqamah, because the one who calls the Adhan, he should also say the Iqamah."
