حِرْصُهٌ ﷺ عَلَى الشَّفَاعَةِ لِأُمَّتِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِHis (peace be upon him) eagerness for intercession for his nation on the Day of Resurrection
Hadith 13091

عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: اجْتَمَعَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَكَعْبٌ، فَجَعَلَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ كَعْبًا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَعْبٌ يُحَدِّثُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ الْكُتُبِ، قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ، وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ“
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) gathered together. Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) began narrating the sayings of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) to Sayyiduna Ka'b, and he began telling him things from the previous scriptures. Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: For every prophet, there is one accepted supplication, and I have kept this supplication hidden, so that I may intercede for my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This is the perfection of the patience, far-sightedness, and wisdom of the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Allah Ta‘ala granted every prophet the authority that he may have one supplication accepted by Allah Ta‘ala according to his own wish. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will use this right on the Day of Resurrection. May Allah Ta‘ala make us among those included in its fulfillment.
