Hadith 13040

وَعَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ ذَهَبَ بِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى مَوْضِعٍ بِالْبَادِيَةِ قَرِيبًا مِنْ مَكَّةَ فَإِذَا أَرْضٌ يَابِسَةٌ حَوْلَهَا رَمْلٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”تَخْرُجُ الدَّابَّةُ مِنْ هَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ“ فَإِذَا فِتْرٌ فِي شِبْرٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraidah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took me with him to a rural place near Makkah. There was dry land there, and sand around it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: From this place, a beast will emerge. There was a crack there about a span wide.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Dabbah (a creature of the earth), regarding which Allah the Exalted has said: {وَ اِذَا وَقَعَ الْقَوْلُ عَلَیْہِمْ اَخْرَجْنَا عَلَیْہِمْ دَآبَّۃً مِّنَ الْاَرْضِ تُکَلِّمُہُمْ اَنَّ النَّاسَ کَانُوْا بِاٰیٰتِنَا لَا یُوْقِنُوْنَ} (Surah An-Naml: 82): When the word will be fulfilled against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth who will speak to them, because mankind did not believe with certainty in Our signs.
