مُدَّةُ مَكْثِ الدَّجَّالِ بَعْدَ ظُهُورِهِ وَقَتْلُهُ الرَّجُلَ الْمُؤْمِنَ يُقَالُ إِنَّهُ الْخَضِرُ ثُمَّ اِحْيَاتُهُ وَعَدْمُ تَسَلُّطِهِ عَلَى غَيْرِهِ وَ هَلَاكُ الدَّجَّالِThe duration of the Dajjal's stay after his appearance, his killing of the believing man (said to be al-Khidr), his resurrection, the Dajjal's inability to harm others, and his destruction

وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”يَخْرُجُ الدَّجَّالُ فِي خَفْقَةٍ مِنَ الدِّينِ وَإِدْبَارٍ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ فَلَهُ أَرْبَعُونَ لَيْلَةً يَسِيحُهَا فِي الْأَرْضِ الْيَوْمُ مِنْهَا كَالسَّنَةِ وَالْيَوْمُ مِنْهَا كَالشَّهْرِ وَالْيَوْمُ مِنْهَا كَالْجُمُعَةِ ثُمَّ سَائِرُ أَيَّامِهِ كَأَيَّامِكُمْ هَذِهِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Dajjal will emerge at a time when religion will be weak and knowledge will be taken away. At that time, the Dajjal will appear. He will remain for forty days; one of those days will be like a year, one day will be like a month, and one day will be like a week, and the remaining days will be like ordinary days.
