Hadith 1298

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) used to call the adhan at the time when the sun declined, and he would not leave out any word of it. Then he would not say the iqamah until the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out; however, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out and he saw him, he would then say the iqamah.
