وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”الْعَمَلُ فِي الْهَرْجِ“ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ ”الْعِبَادَةُ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ كَهِجْرَةٍ إِلَيَّ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ma’qil bin Yasar Muzani, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Performing deeds during the days of killing and chaos, and according to another narration, worship during times of tribulation, will be like migrating to me.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In a time filled with tribulations, adhering to the Shari‘ah becomes a difficult matter; therefore, in such circumstances, greater reward and merit are granted.
