Hadith 12912

وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ أَسْعَدَ النَّاسِ بِالدُّنْيَا لُكَعُ بْنُ لُكَعَ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Day of Judgment will not be established until the most despicable of the despicable is regarded as the most honorable among the people.

Benefits: … Before understanding this blessed hadith, it is necessary to realize who are considered honorable in the Shari‘ah and who are regarded as insignificant. Now our society has become an embodiment of this hadith, where virtue is not considered the standard.
