Hadith 12911

وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”إِنَّ شِرَارَ النَّاسِ مَنْ تُدْرِكُهُ السَّاعَةُ وَهُمْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَمَنْ يَتَّخِذُ الْقُبُورَ مَسَاجِدَ“
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The worst people are those whom the Day of Judgment will find alive (i.e., upon whom the Day of Judgment will be established), and those who make graves places of prostration.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Since those upon whom the Hour (Qiyamah) will be established will be the worst of people, they will be completely deprived of the recognition (ma‘rifah) of Allah, exalted is He, and His Messenger, and of fulfilling their rights.
