فِتَنْ عَامَّةٌ وَأُمُورٌ هَامَّةٌ لَا تَقُوْمُ السَّاعَةُ إِلَّا بَعْدَ حُصُولِهاGeneral tribulations and important matters; the Hour will not come until they occur
Hadith 12865

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ عَذَابًا أَصَابَ الْعَذَابُ مَنْ كَانَ فِيهِمْ ثُمَّ بُعِثُوا عَلَى أَعْمَالِهِمْ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Allah Almighty intends to send punishment upon a people, that punishment descends upon all the people; then, on the Day of Resurrection, people will be raised according to their intentions.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … When punishment befalls a people, the righteous among them are also afflicted in the midst; however, when they are resurrected (on the Day of Judgment), consideration will be given to their good deeds.
